About Us

We are the founders and breath trainers of the Ocean Breath Retreat and are happy to accompany you on this journey

Konstantin
Breath Coach according to the Buteyko method, Relaqua & cold exposure trainer

As an experienced breathwork and cold therapy trainer as well as a holistic health consultant, I rely on proven methods such as Buteyko and Relaqua to help people achieve greater inner balance. My expertise is based on well-founded knowledge and many years of practice, which I use to build trust and create individual paths toward optimal breathing and cold therapy.

In 2024, I deepened my passion for the ocean through freediving, which has fascinated me ever since — not as a competition, but as a meditative exploration of a quiet, fascinating underwater world. Even earlier, I was drawn to the sea, especially through surfing. Today, I particularly value the depth and stillness beneath the surface. I share these enriching experiences in the “Ocean Breath Retreat.”

Yoga teacher & breath massage practitioner

I accompany our participants with yoga sessions and breath massages. My journey began in 2018 with my yoga teacher training in Cambodia, which deeply shaped my life. For me, yoga is like a mental massage — relaxing and connecting.
In 2022, I deepened my knowledge with a breathwork training, where I met Konstantin.
Conscious breathwork strengthens self-awareness and deepens relationships.
My mission is to help people find inner balance and live more consciously.

Freediving instructor & kayak guide

I was born in the USA but grew up in Switzerland as the son of a Swiss mother and an Iranian father. Cultural diversity and the four national languages shaped me early on, and I learned several languages fluently.

From an early age, I was fascinated by nature and spent a lot of time in forests and the wilderness. After school, I traveled through Greece and Latin America, lived for some time in Mexico and Colombia.

In Colombia, I found love, family, and my calling as a diver. In 2017, I moved to Tenerife and worked as a dive instructor for five years. In 2022, I founded a sustainable project to bring people closer to the ocean in a very personal way.

A Typical Retreat Day

8 days / 7 nights with wholesome, vegetarian (vegan possible) and healthy meals (breakfast and dinner). Each day at the retreat follows a natural rhythm that brings body, mind, and soul into harmony.

From mindful morning rituals to deep breathwork workshops and regenerating evening activities — experience a nourishing balance between movement, relaxation, and conscious nutrition. This is a sample daily schedule — each day unfolds a little differently, with plenty of space for integration and rest.

The retreat lasts 8 days.

How do I get from the airport to the accommodation?

A transfer from the airport to the accommodation will be organized.Please share your arrival time with us after registration — you will receive the relevant information via your registration link.

Can I arrive earlier or depart later?

Arriving earlier to the retreat itself is not possible.
However, you are welcome to travel to Tenerife earlier and enjoy an individual vacation.

Likewise, you may extend your stay after the retreat.
In both cases, you are responsible for organizing your own flights, accommodation, and meals.
Please inform us if you adjust your travel plans accordingly.

Can I participate on my own?

Absolutely! Many participants travel alone.The Meer Atmen Retreat is a wonderful opportunity to form new connections in an open and supportive community.

Is prior experience required?

No, the Ocean Breath Retreat is suitable for all experience levels.Whether you are a beginner or advanced — the workshops and sessions are designed so everyone can benefit in their own way.

I have allergies – can this be accommodated?

Yes, in most cases we can accommodate allergies and intolerances.Please let us know in advance so we can prepare accordingly.

Can I try freediving (apnea diving) as a beginner?

Yes, freediving is also suitable for beginners! With the right breathing technique, some practice, and proper guidance, anyone can safely explore the world of freediving.

What are the benefits of ice bathing combined with breathwork?

The combination of ice bathing and breathwork offers many benefits, including:

Booking & Preparation

After completing your booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email. You’ll also be asked to fill out a short health questionnaire so we can better understand your individual needs and take any potential limitations into account.

Organization & Payment

We review your details and then send you the payment information. At the same time, we coordinate your airport transfer (if needed) based on your flight details.

Arrival & Welcome

Shortly before the retreat, you’ll receive an email with all important final details regarding your arrival. Once you arrive, we’ll warmly welcome you and make sure you feel comfortable from the very beginning.
